Lisette Martinez

Award winning art scholar who studied at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. Teaching art to children in Nepal and traveling through Europe are both strong influences in the development of her unique art style.

Her art influences range from the surrealistic artist Salvador Dali and German expressionism. Lisette’s unique tattoo style varies from single needle mixed with pointillism to abstract surrealism and photo realism. As a preference, Lisette has chosen to specialize in black and grey work. All of her work is custom designed for each individual client. Therefore, Lisette will not tattoo the same exact design more than once. She is excellent at turning her clients ideas into reality and will create a unique custom design just for you.

Lisette started off her tattoo career in Brooklyn, NY where she apprenticed at a shop in Williamsburg. She now tattoos at her private studio in Newington Connecticut. Although, Connecticut is her main base, Lisette travels occasionally throughout the year attending conventions and guest spots so be sure to check our ‘travel’ page and ‘join’ our email list for updates for when she’ll be traveling to an area near you.
